If I tank a meeting with one VC, will other VCs find out?

Pillar VC’s Parker McKee says it’s very unlikely that a venture partner who was apart of a pitch meeting that doesn’t go as planned will run off and talk to other VC’s about how the meeting went. It’s important as a founder not to over emphasize commitments from VC’s or conversations you may be having with the investor community as VC’s are likely to talk to their friends about deals taking place in town.
