He is co-president of First Green Partners and is an advisor to the Asia Green Fund. Prior to being an investor, he was director of biotechnology and chief scientist at Cargill, Inc. and a professor of chemical and biological engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has had a passion for food and ag his entire career. His first job out of college was with a start-up, Advanced Harvesting Systems.
